| Abstract: "Camptocormia" is a gait disorder characterized by marked flexion of the thoracolumbar spine, abating in the recumbent position.(1) Though once considered prima facie evidence of a conversion disorder,(2,3) camptocormia has been linked to a variety of organic diseases within the past decade, including parkinsonism.(1) I report a patient, who presented with a chief complaint consistent with camptocormia, secondary to early amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS). |
