Abstract: We report the case of an infant with severe respiratory infections, chronic diarrhea, failure to thrive, and disseminated Cryptosporidium parvum infection. Laboratory investigations disclosed a diagnosis of hyper-IgM syndrome caused by CD40 deficiency.
