Abstract: A new multiple enzymatic system containing galactose-1-phosphate uridyltransferase suitable for the regeneration of UDP-Gal, UDP-2-deoxy-Gal, and UDP-galactosamine for the synthesis of N-acetyllactosamine and analogs has been developed.
